Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese practice of inserting needles into specific areas of the body to either stimulate or sedate energy flow known as Chi. HealthPointe Medical utilizes both needle and needleless technique for our patients comfort. The needle technique involves the use of stainless steel needles inserted gently into the body. Whereas the needeless technique requires no needle. Instead we use light stimulation with lasers and beads to active or sedate specific acupuncture points in a totally painless procedure. Our acupuncture treatments have been shown to help with various medical conditions such as headaches, neck pain, lower back pain and sinus problems as well as other issues.
